Ray Bond

VP, Solutions Engineer

Ray Bond is a highly experienced technologist and executive leader with 30+ years’ experience in multiple sectors that includes military, private, software development, energy and utilities. Ray has held senior level positions at multiple utility vendors and at one of the largest electric cooperatives in the state of Georgia. He has held key positions such as Chief Development Officer, Senior Vice President, Vice President, Director, and Senior Technologist. He currently holds the position of Vice President, Solutions Engineer at enxchange.

Ray began his career serving ten years in the U.S. Air Force where he oversaw a 25-million-dollar mainframe computer system for the Strategic Air Command in Omaha, Nebraska. While serving, Ray put himself through school, earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (with honors) from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Upon his discharge from the military, Ray worked several years for defense contractors before transferring to Atlanta, Georgia and embarking on the utility and energy portion of his career. He spent almost ten years at Meridian Cooperative, first serving as SVP of their municipality division, where he took an initial team of four people and no clients and built the division into a team of 60+ individuals that implemented and served dozens of municipal and multi-commodity clients. He later took on the role of CDO where he oversaw the entire development organization of over 300 people and lead them through the complex transition of software platforms.

Ray is known for his ability to take complex, technical items and make them understandable to all audiences. He also has a lengthy track record of creating, cultivating, and leading loyal and dedicated teams that achieve unparalleled success.

In addition to his degree from the University of Nebraska, Ray also has an Associate of Science in Information Systems Management from the Community College of the Air Force as well as a Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Harvard Business School.
